I’m looking for food

That doesn’t really transcend time but more plays with the concept of time

Twinkies
They can last decades on a shelf!
I've probably eaten a few decades old Twinkies:/

Corn. According to the movie Interstellar (2014), corn is the one thing we're capable to eat that transcends dimensions of time and space.

See how that’s interesting but does it play with the concept of time

English breakfast. The name itself and the eggs imply you should eat it in the morning, while the sausages and beans say it's dinner. Oh, what a conundrum! Maybe go for the happy medium and have it for lunch???

Rice - Sgt Barnes was looking for it in Platoon (1986) But this was set in 1967 and i saw the rice again in Lost Boys (1987) which took place in the then present day. I can't say for sure if it was the same grains but i paraphrase. "It's really fuckin' weird man".
