Maidstone (1970): Rip Torn vs Norman Mailer fight

A terrible movie. The only good part was towards the end when Rip Torn hits Norman Mailer in the head with a hammer and a fight breaks out. This was not staged.

I agree. Rip Torn is a funny fella - especially in "The Larry Sanders Show" - my favorite character of my favorite show.

I've seen that footage before and Rip Torn is a huge jerk. The only redeemable quality about him is that his last name is a past tense of his first name.
