Cell Phones Causing Horn Like Growths On The Back Of Teens Heads!

I saw this on the news this morning!

“Younger generations are growing horns in the back of their head.”

And the growths will be genetic and continue to grow longer!! 😳

I saw this too, but somewhere else. Some folks are wondering that if it's true, wouldn't it be found in folks who read a lot? However, I suspect people today spend a lot more time hunched over computers and smartphones than past generations did on reading.

I saw it this morning reported by a very respected physician, Dr. Mark Siegel.

I don't doubt that the condition has been found, nor do I discount that it's possibly true. I've actually wondered how long it would be before something like this was discovered. I simply cannot get over how much time people spend glued to their phones. Their phones might as well be glued to their hands. I still laugh at the gal who couldn't put her phone in her pocket for the 30 seconds it took her to exit her car, lock the doors, and go inside. She was juggling her purse, keys, fast-food drink, and her phone. Yep, she dropped the phone and cracked its screen. Cursing followed.

Karma is a wonderful thing!☺️ We were stopped at a red light, I was the passenger so I had a clear view. I looked over and there sitting in a compact car sitting behind the wheel was one of the most dangerous things to encounter; a woman with a cell phone to her ear! Doing that she still had two hands free. How you ask? They weren’t on the steering wheel....while her phone was between her neck and left shoulder, she had a note pad in her left hand and was writing on it with her right hand! The concept of her hands belonging on the steering wheel apparently was foreign to her! When the light changed I told my husband to GO! I didn’t want to be in the vicinity of that dip wad! 🤬

I observed the gal I mentioned from across the street. She no longer lives there but I sometimes wonder if she learned her lesson. Probably not since it's an addiction.

I'm the same as you - if I notice someone distracted by their phone I do my best to put distance between them and me, preferable ahead of them.

Not too long ago I was preparing to exit I-10 here in Mississippi. I had been leery of a woman who was driving an SUV and was keeping my distance. I put on my blinker while slowing down, good thing I did because of what was to follow. You know how the exits on highways veer away from the main road, yellow lines and a separation between? She wasn’t going to exit or so I thought....this is what I get for thinking! I no sooner said out loud “Goody, she’s going straight.” was when she decided to exit! So over she’s coming across those yellow dividing lines just as I’m entering the exit lane! Recall me saying I was slowing down? I laid on my horn, she stopped just as I was preparing to run off the road! She was on the damn phone and remained with it stuck to her ear! Damn idiot!

She stopped?? Good grief! It's rather horrifying the stupid and dangerous maneuvers these drivers do. Defensive driving is a must. Driving is no longer a pleasure these days. It's a very dangerous endeavor.

reply

I was quite relieved she stopped. If she had not I would have t-boned her or run off the road! My horn stopped her on the yellow dividing lines. Everything was instantaneous. 😱

reply

😱 is right. Thank goodness. I wasn't picturing your situation quite right.
