Anyone else miss video stores?

I enjoyed the ritual of speaking to the guy at the counter, I had a couple of video stores but in one place there was a guy named Chris...I couldn't tell you if he's even alive anymore but he was cool

We actually hung out a bunch and he would suggest the best new horrors and crime movies...

I liked the ritual of picking through the dusty shelves and choosing a couple of horrors or action/thrillers for the weekend

I do miss the excitement of the Video stores and the conversation but streaming is so easy I wouldn't go back to Video Stores to be honest
I'm a streamer now

I miss stalking the patrons, at the front door,
who were returning films in an attempt to snag a hot movie before it was returned and released to the masses. I was uber aggressive.

I miss music stores more.
