i actually love swimming in the murky, muddy sound of that album.
i'm one of those annoying contrarians who doesn't quite love exile as much as most people (there are just a few too many throw-away jams on it) but the best songs on it are the greatest things they ever recorded.

shareThe last 25 seconds of Total Eclipse of the Heart where they are on the stairs just singing like "turn around turn around wuhuuu", it doesn't fit and isn't needed, i could argue it even ruins the whole feeling of the song, or at least ruins the ending.
