Still in the AirB&B, moving tomorrow to another unit in this little compound, which I hope will be cooler than this one.
Until today, it's been pleasantly cool. Supposed to cool off some tomorrow, thank god.
It's hotter here than it was where I used to live. Lots of microclimates around these here parts. I want to move back to a cooler one.

But I don't want your too-cold winters and wintery springs.
Half our province had snow over the weekend. We didn't, but it was cool and rainy which was good as the fire ban has now been lifted.

Humidity really screws with my system and I have been hating it.
It was humid here too, but I don't think as high as 63%. Hotter than 73. Somewhere in the 80s. Which doesn't sound all that hot either, but with the humidity, ick. It's cooled off nicely now.
Tomorrow's supposed to be cooler, and then even cooler after that.
Last week the humidity went above 80%. It has felt like Florida down here for weeks, but at least it was cloudy before.
shareThe heat does kind of slap you in the face if it has been cool for a while. Gorgeous day here, today. Sunny and mid-70s. What more could you ask for? Sat out on the neighbor's patio for a while, enjoying an adult beverage or two. But then the bugs came out and it was time to call it a night.

Nope, no Lewdy Judy, thank goodness. Bozo is the non-lawn mowing guy. I saw him today too, and we chatted for a bit. He's a nice enough guy, he's just clueless when it comes to taking care of things. I also had a nice chat with Connie. She lives across the alley from me. Sweet lady, 93 years old, has lived here for more than sixty years. Her husband died young, in his 30s, and she raised their two kids here on her nurse's salary. She's amazing. Up until about two years ago she mowed her lawn and shoveled snow. She still putters around her yard and garden, though. She uses a walker when she's out for her walks, but she's still going! Oh, and by the way, she uses a computer, too. Not a lot, but I admire the fact that she can go online and shop, etc.

I don't like how little energy I've got in the heat. Going to need energy for tomorrow's move.
