Have you ever heard the term "Chad" before?

Basically a "Chad" is an attractive, confident young man (usually white.)

I hear it a lot on a video game message board that I frequent.

I've heard of 'hanging chads' and the African country Chad, and I might recall an awful, bully type character named Chad in a teen
comedy but this use of 'Chad,' ...no

reply

Ah, I see. So it's mainly a nerd thing I guess....

reply

According to your description it sounds more gay than nerdy

Not that there's anything wrong with that

reply

I'm surprised it's not Rob since Rob Lowe is better looking than Chad Lowe.

reply

I am not a gamer.

reply

That makes sense if you haven't heard this slang word, then.

reply

it's the space between your balls and your asshole.

reply

Interesting.

I'm really not going to google that...I'm adjusting to the new gender identities as fast as I can...I fear I'm
losing ground:/

reply

That may be a choad. Lol

reply

A Choad is a derogatory term/insult, to mean having a penis that is wider than it is long. It is a birth defect and is extremely rare. Apparently this was deleted, gunning the supportable senses and leaving it to someone to anonymously re-enter it with the dubious sense.

chote
chote is a derogatory slang abbriviation of the word choteus meaning that of a man's penis which is wider in length than it is long. The word chote is a fast growing adjective used in the Australian coastal town of Currumbin to describe a frustrating or stupid person who is behaving innappropriately (namely a male). The word also is a local greeting term to acknowledge friends or acquaintances known over a long period of time and or seen on a regular daily basis.

reply

Wow! I stand corrected. :) all these years my co workers must have had such a laugh at my expense after using this word incorrectly so often.

reply

Wrong! Guess again. According to the Urban Dictionary, that is the gooch. On a woman, it's the taint.

Yep used a lot to describe cocky men who are usually losers but bed lots of women. A bad boy type.

reply

The only real reference I've heard of this before recently was a Family Guy from a few years ago where they were watching the intro to some teen choice award show and they were saying who was going to be there, and it was all young stars who's name was a variation of Chad.

found the Family Guy clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_y3N7q1bwfY

Nope.

😎

reply

Nope, just hanging chads.

But then I'm not anything close to a gamer. Are Chads not gamers or something? Is it used as a pejorative?

reply

It is a pejorative for attractive, confident young men, who may or may not be gamers.

reply

Huh. Sounds like a classic case of someone trying to put down someone else he's jealous of.
