Worst film with a $200 milion budget or more?

The Last Jedi.

Waterworld cost $175,000 in 1995, however, with inflation, that would be over $288,000 today, so that's my vote.

reply

Waterworld is a good, fun flick. I watched it many times.

reply

I have a soft spot for it too. I'd watch it 100 times rather than watching TLJ 1 time. At least it had heart and interesting setting.

reply

I agree that its a fun movie and have seen it many times as well, but its generally regarded as an over budgeted flop.

reply

I should watch this again.

reply

I liked Waterworld. Nothing wrong with it.

That's pretty damn cheap! What did they pay Costner, 10 grand and a six pack of beer?

King Kong and Avatar.

i haven't seen the majority of them.
some of the budgets seem absolutely insane to me.
why are those pirates movies so crazily expensive? madness!
green lantern costing $200m seems crazy to me as well.

i would categorize very few of the movies on that list that i have seen as bad. most of them are just block-buster generic, fairly forgettable to me, but mostly competent & watchable. and some of them are great. i love the avengers films, i think spider-man 2 is terrific, etc.

terminator salvation was a complete dud as i recall, bland & dreary & very boring. i'd probably single that one out as being the worst out of what i can remember.
