I hate when women list what they want in a man and start with TALL!

Could a man say, 'My dream girl is thin"?

Imagine if that was the common way to start talking about the traits you'd like in a woman?

At least with being thin it's achievable with a diet and exercise, but men can't become tall to meet a girls needs.

Or those wedding shows and the girlfriends meet him and go 'oh wow, he's tall, that's good' or 'oh no, he's short.'

I feel like heightism is an accepted form of discrimination.

"Could a man say, 'My dream girl is thin"?"

Sure, and I'm sure many do, along with "enormous boobs." It is a common way men talk about traits they want in a woman.

reply

I donโ€™t like skinny and big boobs. I prefer healthy plus big boobs. :)

reply

It's the big boobs part that's most commonly mentioned ;)

reply

[deleted]

Iโ€™m with you on that.

reply

Wait Kaspar.. let me clarify myself. I like big butt red neck women. ๐Ÿ˜‚

During an episode of CSI today, a dwarf was trying to put the moves to the character of Catherine Willows. One of his pick-up lines was, " Have you ever had the backs of those thighs kissed by a man who was standing up?" She burst out laughing.

reply

You too? What are the odds two people on these boards share a common type?

I will go ahead and assume you're joking, and that you have a very unusual sense of humor.

reply

What's so upsetting with someone who knows what traits they desire in a partner? People who have already figured out what type of person they're attracted to and openly seek that out are just being assertive about their preferences.

reply

[deleted]

Some women won't date men UNLESS they are tall, not just taller. They turn up their noses to guys.

reply

Technically they'd turn their noses up to tall guys as well. Avoiding eye contact during conversation would be rather rude.

reply

Lol! ๐Ÿคฃ

reply

How tall are you ??

reply

Short obviously.

reply

plenty of short women out there.

reply

I am tall and my wife is short, I couldn't imagine it working the other way.

reply

Most guys usually lead with 'She has to be hot/sexy/good looking' or some other adjective for attractive so I don't think it's a big deal

Are you of a smallish stature?

reply

Yes, shortie.

reply

Nothing wrong with that
Own it buddy๐Ÿ‘

"In 1917, at age 18, he was measured at 122.55 cm (4 ft 0.25 in), then in 1918, at age 19, he was measured at 111.5 cm (3 ft 7.9 in). A typical defining characteristic of dwarfism is an adult height below 147 cm (4 ft 10 in). Then, likely as a result of a pituitary tumor, he had a dramatic growth spurt so that by 1932 at the age of 33 he had reached a height of 218 cm (7 ft 2 in)"

Whoa! Poor guy though, he died young.

reply

[deleted]

Sounds like he did shrink, although it might be a typo. What a bizarre growth pattern he had, even if that is a typo.

reply

[deleted]

It can be! Usually is :)

reply

Itโ€™s better than starting with RICH.

reply

Well, TALL is often euphemism for RICH.

reply

๐Ÿค” never heard that one. FYI - Jeff Bezos and Mark Zuckerberg are 5โ€™7.
