APPLE PIE !!

not chevrolet

I resisted the vanilla ice cream thing for a long time, but finally gave it a try. Good ! When I was a little kid I hated the idea of my food touching each other. Where do kids get these ideas? But either way, I'm going with apple pie. I even contemplate getting the cheap $1 ones from the grocery store or a fast food place. It's as American as Johnny Appleseed.

You betcha!

Peanut butter fudge and peanut butter brownie (latter topped with peanut butter icing).

It has a rich, creamy texture with a sharp after taste that leaves one's mouth in sheer enjoyment.

Tiramisu 100%

That's a tough one. Toss up between a really good key lime pie and a really good New York cheesecake. But a homemade fresh strawberry shortcake is up there too!

Cheesecake,

Cheesecake?;

reply

Oops sorry, I was supposed to be answering the OP. I love cheesecake.

reply

What kind? There was one NY cheesecake I had that was the best ever. Not at all dry and somewhat crumbly like some of them can be. Creamy and sinfully luscious, with delicate flavourings. YUM.

reply

As long as it has a nice crunchy biscuity base, I’ll eat any flavour.

👍

And now I want a slice.

key lime pie - deeply under-rated.

i'll also put a word in for pecan pie.
i don't think i actually tried pecan pie until i was in my thirties.
because why would anyone eat a nut pie? seemed like madness to me.
but i bought one on impulse once, & immediately realized my mistake.
been making amends ever since.

A nut pie 😄. You've got a point there. It does sound like madness put that way. Never thought about it because in my family pecan pie was served regularly on holidays. You do have some delicious catching up to do.

reply

I'm quite fond of powdered sugar and a spoon.
