Avengers spoilers in thread titles

What's with this? Seriously! I am not opening any threads and trying to avoid plot points, but idiots on here are actually putting the spoilers in the thread title!

Grow a brain, morons, have some respect for those who have not yet seen the movie.

reply

Pretty simple solution when it comes to spoilers. Stay off the internet. That's what I did. Problem solved.

Agreed - poor site etiquette (for any film).

reply

i agree.
i wish moderators would clean that stuff up.
certainly for an event movie like this one, they could have had a body or two on double-duty clamping down on anything like that.

when breaking bad was on its final run, some clever person decided to start a thread on a non-tv/movie site i was going to at the time with the title 'my friend hank just died' or something to that effect. i hadn't had a chance to see that episode yet, so hank's death was completely spoiled for me because some goofball, some dork from wherever thought it was a good idea to plop a spoiler right into a thread title. why? why do that?

it's a little more defensible for tv, i suppose, less so these days since so much is streamed, but still.

don't be a dick.

reply

I honestly believe this is deliberate...the usual morons and haters determined to spoil the movie for others out of spite.

reply

i have no doubt it is deliberate.
some people are just dinks.
why? i don't know why.
but that's the way it is.

i just wish the mods would have done some extra time to clean that nonsense up.
i was spoiled on at least two things for endgame just by glancing at thread titles on this site. not major things, mind you. but it was still annoying, & could have been avoided with some simple, common sense moderation.

"my friend hank just died"
I had the same thing with "The Force Awakens"
I was watching some stupid youtube top ten bullshit things, and they just came right out with the big spoiler, and they wernt even talking about the film!
