That is true, but he managed to stay on top for quite some time. Now instead of admitting defeat his fans are shouting racist bullshit at T-series. Pewdiepie himself doesn't seem too care too much. Must be kinda frustrating that he probably won't be the first to reach 100 million though. They are both at 90000000 at the moment.

I don't follow him that much but i can see he has at least matured a bit in his style over time. It's not just screams and brofisting like before. Most Youtubers tend to grow stale after a few years. He seems like a pretty smart guy who knows how to stay relevant and keep making his people clicking on his videos. Being the biggest for that long his not a small feat by internet standards where things age 10 times as fast as in real world.

His real name is Felix Kjellberg and he has been going under his username Pewdiepie since around 2013. The channel was originally a gaming channel but has slowly turned into more of a social media channel where he talks about various stuff occuring online. 90 million subscribers at the moment and as mentioned has been the biggest youtube channel for a few years now. His audience is mostly younger kids, it's not a very serious channel, lot of childishness going on, but if your into that humor you would probably enjoy his material.
