Land of Mine: An excellent film: 8.5/10

It was nominated for Best Foreign Language Film at the 2017 Oscars, and is based on true events. I highly recommend it.

Comments from IMDB viewers:

"a disturbing and devastating piece of cinema"
"the most heart-pulse racing moments you can have in a war history story
which needs to be told"
"a blot on Danish post war history"
"makes The Hurt Locker look like a walk in the park"

This looks really good. Thanks for the recommendation, MovieMan.

Usually I use Vudu but it's only available for purchase there, so I'm going to see if I can rent it somewhere else.

You're welcome, Tex! If you were a member of Netflix, you could get the DVD from them.

I was eagerly anticipating that movie for a while back before it was released. It's always interesting to see a WWII movie from another countries perspective.

You might also like "April 9th", which is another Danish WWII movie that came out the same year.
"In the early morning of April 9 1940, the Danish army are alerted that the Germans have crossed the border. At the Southern border, the Danish Home Guard are ordered out to hold back the enemy until the Danish reinforcements can be mobilized."

Not as good as Land of Mine, but still worth the watch. Its included with Prime.
