I love this movie. I always wondered if The Rockford Files was sort of based on it.

It was a fine picture
God help me I hardly remember a thing about The Rockford Files:/
Long time ago...

First time seeing this, I didn't like it so much, but I was already a huge fan of Robert Altman, so I saw it again and liked it much more.
