Exactly. It's getting fucking annoying. I'm a very political person but I come here to get away from politics. I like this board for the movie talk, the socializing with cool people, the games. Now there are a bunch of people determined to make this a political forum even though they have the Trump forum, the politics board you linked to, and literally hundreds if not thousands of other websites that are better venues for political discussion. It's got to stop.

I dislike politics, and come here to get away from it too. Which is getting harder and harder these days. Jeez, we already have boards here for that, why pollute GD?

It used to be fun to come here, relax, socialise, be silly, play games, talk about movies and such 😐

She is not. This isn't a political thread but a call to take the politics elsewhere. How are we supposed to get this board back on track if no one says anything about what's going on and reminds everyone of what this board actually is and isn't?

As long as it's held in general discussion there really isn't any "supposed to be". You are meant to talk about whatever you want in there. I agree it should be kept away from the rest of the forum though.

I wasn't going to reply, but since others did, I'll make an exception... I'm a VERY political person, but it took all the fun away from movies, and noticed the boards WITHOUT politics are more fun.
