IMHO John Waters' "Female Trouble" foresaw the age of reality TV, and the amateur famewhores on youtube and Instagram.

Because yeah, a heroine who is trash through and through but who will do anything for fame, suffer any humiliation for attention, and eventually die for on national TV, glorying her notoriety? Remind you of anything, like maybe some "real housewives"?
