The Irishman

Very excited for this one, the cast seems astounding:
Directed by Scorsese, it will star Pacino, DeNiro, Pesci, Paquin and several more stars

This should be a real beauty of a film

reply

Deniro has to rock huge platform shoes for this movie lol. I'll watch anything by Scorsese.

reply

I'm not sure what that means Padeen but I'm really confident that all the old boys will be great once again...
Might be the last time too!

reply

Deniro needed to be taller for his role in the movie, so he wore platform shoes during the filming.

As for Pacino, he's going to live to a ripe old age, just like Kirk Douglas.

reply

I suppose we will all see how it turned out soon

reply

Reminds me of Alan Ladd having to stand on boxes in some of his scenes just to appear as comparatively tall as his fellow actors.

reply

Joker
Godzilla: King of the Monsters
The Lighthouse
Uncut Gems
Lucy in the Sky

I'd like to say The Irishman too but I'm skeptical

reply

I need to check up on The Joker more...I will look it up

I hate to say it but everybody is getting older, this might be Scorsese's last blast with certain actors we all love so much
Fingers crossed it is brilliant!

reply

Lucy in the Sky is based on Lisa Nowak. Sounds interesting.

reply

Loosely based. And Noah Hawley of Fargo (the FX series) is directing.

reply

Besides the others that have been stated:

Teen Spirit
The Art of Self-Defense
Brightburn
High Life
Shazam!
Hellboy

But most of all:

FP2: Beats of Rage

reply

Never heard of FP. But now I'm interested.

reply

Good horror movies seem to be rare nowadays, so I'm looking forward to "The Wind". I think it's a remake from many decades ago.

John Wick 3. Can Keanu pull off another one?

Not a huge fan of big Blockbusters, but Godzilla: King of the Monsters shows promise.

Death on the Nile. I enjoyed Murder on the Orient Express. Loved the score.

Fucking Star Wars. Love that shit.

reply

Ad Astra is the one i'm most looking forward to. Also Pet Sematary and It part 2.

reply

Ad Astra almost made my list.

Can't think of a single one.
