How often does your internet connection go out?

Prior to moving into this place, all 3 others where I lived it went down rarely. Maybe once a year, but only if some big event took it down. Wind, fire, etc.

Maybe 4 times a year I had to reboot the modem and/or router.

This is what I consider normal.

Here it's been a nightmare. Not great to begin with, but it's turned into a nightmare, being out for half a day, a day, two days. I got really tired of calling the local provider, and my landlords (who owns the account -- Wifi was included in my rent) couldn't be arsed to get it fixed.

Now I'm curious what's normal for everyone else.
