If you could see 1 movie again for the first time...

...what would it be and why?

The one that comes to my mind is Jurassic Park because, for its time, the special effects were amazing.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I liked to see how far the premise would go. Are they actually going to show the machine they use? Are we going to see inside it head? Are we going to see actual things disappear? Watching it over the years, I'm already aware of it.

Star Wars Episode V (TESB), a very good SW movie.

If I could also go back in time to the moment when I first saw the film as well: -
Wizard of Oz - especially where it goes from black & white to technicolour; it left an indelible mark on my life as a child.
Star Wars - I was 10 years old. Can you imagine how awestruck I was.

Apologies for picking two.

reply

I'll allow two picks since both of these are worthy. 😉

I'm so old that for quite a few years I had to watch all of The Wizard of Oz in black and white. When we finally got a color TV my entire family was excited to see the change to color.

I'm not into the Star Wars thing, but I suspect my awe at Jurassic Park was similar to your reaction to Star Wars.

Oldboy, the Korean one of course. The story is just so enthralling. I’d love to see it again not knowing how it pans out.

That's a movie I've never heard of so I looked it up. Sounds like an interesting story.

Definitely recommend checking it out. I don’t think you’d regret it

It's a super film, especially the bit where...………….

Hmm very tough question. Have to go with the Sixth Sense. The twist totally blew me away like no other movie before.
