Lemon Tree - Fools Garden
Fools Garden was a German group which had one hit back in 1995. A very catchy tune:

My favorite German worded song is the Beach Boys (phonetically?) singing in German the beautiful song "In My Room."
Something like "Ganze Alai."
Why did they sing it in German ??

Hmm, it doesn't sound that good, to be honest.
share"Ganz Allein" perhaps?
shareYes, maybe. I've never tried to translate it. But my Beach Boys Rarities album might have the answer. I'd have to go find it. Not that hard, but also a bit of work.
shareIt means "all alone". Not sure if that's also the subject of "My Room".
shareThat actually sounds about right. I'm not a big Beach Boys fan, but I know they are special to millions of people and have many layers regarding their recorded output.
On the rare occasion where I've heard "In My Room" in English, yes, it does state the singer loves to be alone in his room where he can tell all his troubles to. That's very touching !
Aw, that's kind of sad, really. He can always come to my basement if he needs to talk!😘
Never heard of that song before, gonna have a listen!
One hit wonders.
shareThe ultimate one hit wonder.
shareThanks, Mitch. Now this song is stuck in my head.😑
shareHere it is in German

They make a German version of everything!:

My Way sounds bad in German as well

That's a cover of Comme d'Habitude, not My Way!

How would I know ?? 🙂🙂🙂🙂
shareBecause I've said this before! You really need to listen to me when I talk!😤
shareI won't question your knowledge on German songs ever again. 🙂🙂🙂🙂
shareOr French. Obviously.
shareand Korean
shareOr Japanese. Or Chinese. Or Dutch. Or even Belgian!
shareThe Belgians don't have any singers. Stop fooling around.
shareThey did win the Eurovision Song Contest many years ago, so they used to have at least one:

What? Belgian isn't even a language. Flemish or Walloon.
shareBelieve it or not, but there actually are "Belgian songs". They're from a country called Belgium.
By the way, the official languages of Belgium are Dutch, French and German.
My bad. Are you ever going to forgive me?
shareGood find Amigo
Never heard of them
I remember them. Not to be confused with savage garden
shareIt's actually a very very sad song, in a very catchy tune. Mind blowing!
shareNice, thanks for sharing.
