I don't believe that us human beings are any more special than any other living being...

Whatever one claims to make us more "special" than any other being is subjective. A dog might look at us and think "Ha, I'm more special than these fools," and whose to say they're wrong? They're neither wrong nor right. It's subjective, you see.

We seem to have this idea that we are above anything that isn't human. But are we really? We created all these amazing things that are only really amazing from our point of view.

We are just another animal. That's it.

animals will rip your guts out and eat you alive. Nature is nothing like a Disney movie.

Animals kill for hunger and survival. No, they don’t concern themselves with trying to take over the world.
Human animals kill for far worse reasons than hunger and survival. We kill for greed, power, money...
It’s sad really.

they wouldn't understand the concept, so no, taking over the world is not something that motivates them.

Most humans aren't into taking over the world either. The vast majority, I'd say.

You make an excellent point!

However, where do feral cats fall into the picture then? Some of them have been known to kill animals for sport such as chickens, leaving their dead carcasses to rot without so much as taking a single bite out of them. This is from personal experience when I used to raise chickens in the countryside.

Feral cats derive from hell. There is no explanation for these savage beasts.

Seriously though, feral cats are domestic cats gone mad. Without humans, there is no domesticated animals, therefore we are responsible for the behavior of these unruly felines as well.
