I saw a lot of Lancaster fans, and thought this might be his best performance, and one of the best movies he was in..

I totally agree! Lancaster was very believable, sensitive, and creative in the film. Regardless of what crime someone commits there is always hope for a change of heart if given the opportunity. Beautiful film. I loved it.

I wish there was footage of the real Robert Stroud, but this movie was very touching, and despite being 2.5 hours, it didn't feel like it. One of my favorite movies.

Sweet Smell of Success is my favorite Lancaster film.

I love the snappy back-and-forth dialogue! I saw it years ago, and would like to watch it again..
