What was the last foreign language film you've seen?

And what would you rate it out of 10? I saw Invisible (2017) on January 1st. It is a Spanish drama film directed by Pablo Giorgelli and stars Mora Arenillas as a pregnant teen. It was good, but not great. I would rate it 7/10.

i watched attenberg last night - 2010 greek film. it's produced by yorgos lanthimos, & he has a supporting acting role in it as well, which is mainly what drew me into watching it.

has moments where awkwardness & discomfort get ratcheted up to levels that made me have to look away and laugh uncomfortably (that's a compliment), but it does meander just a bit too much for its own good at times. felt like it could have used just a bit more venom in its bite. absolutely worth a watch for enjoyers of weirdness. 3.5/5

I bought The Lives Of Others but have never viewed it. Don't know what my problem is. Too serious? I have a friend I'd like to invite over to share it, but sometimes I think she doesn't like serious fare either. She likes comedy or movies with spiritual uplift. We saw Almodovar's All About My Mother not long ago. I absolutely love this movie, and midway through I asked if she was enjoying it. She said, I'm not sure.
