Stonekeeper's Winter Game: I recommend THIS Mystery Movie #253 (Staten Island 2009)

Boom!

So you guys like to play games? Here is an investigation game that can be time consuming but it's lots of fun. Basically, I have a movie in mind and you have to guess which one it is. For each movie you guys are going to guess, I will give a hint that CONNECTS your guess with the movie I have in mind.

Example of connections: Actor, length, genre, aspect ratio, language, country, year, director, writer in common, rating, number of votes, nominations. It can even be something like: both movies involve a love triangle.

- The winner can either start a new game or say "pass". In case of a pass, the OP gets to start another one.
- After 12 hints, the point goes to the OP and he/she gets to start another one.
- Movie must have at least 3500 votes on IMDb.

Let's get it on!

Hint #1: S.O.B. (1981): Comedy and drama genre in common
Hint #2: The Battle of Algiers (1966): Under 50 000 votes on Imdb
Hint #3: Sabrina (1995): At least one cast member has been nominated for at least one Oscar
Hint #4: You Can't Take It with You (1938) : Language in common: English
Hint #5:Babe: Pig in the City (1998) : Under 100 minutes
Hint #6: Imaginary Heroes (2004): Written and directed by the same person
Hint #7: The Pick-up Artist (1987): Imdb rating under 6
Hint #8: Friday After Next: Released in the 21st century
Hint #9: Novocaine (2001): At least one cast member with a Prime time emmy nomination
Hint #10: The Last Five Years (2014): Aspect Ratio: 2.35 : 1
Hint #11: wiener dog, 2016: Julie Delpy played in more than one movie with one of my lead

Laura saves the day with Staten Island (2009), one of the few movies I reviewed when I joined Imdb:

I bought this movie in a three movie deal package. I owned the DVD for several months before I even considered 'losing' some time watching what this movie really was.

Oh what a surprise it was. I had no expectations at all... This movie surprised me very much. All along, I was looking at this movie without apprehensions... I was very surprised by this movie. I was not expecting the things I saw in this movie... I still remember that night I watched this movie, I had a lot of fun that night...and I found myself surprised. I give this film an eight, because it was great.
