why is search so flaky on moviechat

i'd had this happen before looking for a movie.
in this case it was "the upside", the new bryan cranston movie that has such a terribly bad rating.

if you are in a hurry and your plug in upside, the query does not return "the upside".

that is an error, and a stupid one in any title database lookup ... and moviechat has done this for a long time now.

why don't you guys fix it.

a search for upside would return everything that has the string upside in its title ... or is there something I am not thinking of ? ..... no, there is not.

i've seen other movies that do not come up unless you include the "the" in the search box ... but I cannot remember them. I think I mentioned this before too.
