Worst movie with the best cast you had seen?

reply

Off the top of my head there's Pottersville (2017).

reply

That was horrible. I totally agree with this one. I know Movie 43 was one that I expect to see listed here, but I had totally erased Pottersville from my memory. :)

reply

Yeah, I'd forgotten about Pottersville until I saw it in the trending tab recently.

Movie 43 is indeed excruciatingly terrible to endure. Yet a fantastic cast, somehow.

reply

Righteous Kill (2008), if only for the two leads. Two of the greatest living actors, and an ensemble of decent supporting actors and we got this turd.

X-Men: The Last Stand (2006).

Movie 43 (2013)

Aloha (2015)

Ocean's Twelve (2004)

The Human Stain (2003) - Anthony Hopkins, Nicole Kidman, Ed Harris
The Mission (1986) - Robert De Niro, Jeremy Irons, Liam Neeson
The Good Shepherd (2006) - Matt Damon, Robert De Niro, William Hurt, Angelina Jolie, Joe Pesci
The Men Who Stare at Goats (2009) - George Clooney, Ewan McGregor, Jeff Bridges, Kevin Spacey

reply

The Men Who Stare at Goats is a movie I bought quite a while ago and never made it all the way through, and I don't know if I ever will. Thank goodness I didn't spend more than a few dollars on it.

reply

Really? I think The Mission was a great movie.

reply

The Mission bored me to my wits end.

reply

I think I would also add Uwe Boll movies. He gets some pretty decent actors, or at least box offices draws, and those movies are so excruciating.

Meteor (1979)

reply

This was so bad I have forgotten about it. A great cast.

reply

Yep, It could have been decent but it was a bit shit.

Highlander II: the Quickening (1991)
-Sean Connery
-Virginia Madsen
-Michael Ironside
-Christopher Lambert

See where all the immortals came from, aliens from another planet, exiled to fight combat in another place and time for reasons...

Hoverboard surfing-sword jousting...

"Wizard of Oz" (1939) references. Ridiculous acts galore.

I love this movie! [sheds delightful tear]
