A hard rocker for its first third and then a chill Latin groove for its duration.

I hate the entire second part of "Can't You Hear Me Knocking?"

I've known a few people to turn off "Can't You Hear Me Knocking?" once the first third is over.

There are many songs like that where it's just not like the rest of the song. Sort of like the middle part in Led Zeppelin's "Heartbreaker".
