Being forgetful is a good trait for movie fans
I get to watch movies that I've already seen and only have a vague idea of what will happen.

shareBut then, how will you know what kinds of Easter eggs or sorts to look for if you're going back into the film with a fresh mind again.
For the film we really love, I can see what you're saying. Who wouldn't want to relive their first time watching something cherished or well-received like 'The Wizard of Oz'?

I don't really examine a movie for Easter eggs. I've recently taken an interest in 80s 90s movies for set design/fashions, purely out if nostalgia.
shareI've watched the entire seasons of Law and Order (20 seasons) several times. Once I've reached the end of the last season I just start over because I've forgotten the plots of the earlier episodes.
shareWatched the first few episodes quite some time ago and thought it was funny seeing more make-up than usual on the main actor's faces. The man's face had way too much blush on his cheeks, looking real rosy. A family member couldn't help but point it out to me. You could tell everyone was still getting their feet wet, even the make-up artists!

To me, the makings of a good murder mystery is when you do re-watch it, you can't remember whodunnit.
