The most haunting final shot in a movie?

The Days of Wine and Roses

There've been several that have haunted me. I can't say which has been the *most* haunting, but a few that stand out are: the final scene in the first Saw, the final scene of Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho, the final scene of the 1930's movie M, and the final scene of the original Night of the Living Dead.

"Fail Safe" gives me shivers thinking about it!😱

The Omen (It sucks that I have to mention that it is the original and NOT the remake) is what pops in my head first on this particular day.

Creepy a hell.

Why does it suck ??

reply

I love The Omen. One of the best horror movies ever. I said it sucks that I have to mention that the particular "The Omen" I am talking about is the original and not the remake. It sucks that there is a remake is all I was trying to say, because you have to mention if you are talking about the original or the remake of The Omen now.

reply

I agree the remake was bad.

The Pit and the Pendulum I would say. It still gives me shivers to this day.. :O
