How many phone numbers do you know?

By memory?

Tonight I met a nice neighbour while out for a walk. She asked me to enter my number into her cell and I had to think about it to make sure I had it right. I've had this number for about a year.

Which made me think about how many numbers I now remember.

1. Childhood number, which is useless info and taking up precious grey matter.

2. Last phone number.

3. More or less current number.

That's it.

I'd be in big trouble if I lost my contacts for some reason 😄

I used to know the numbers of my family members and close friends. Now? Nada.

My own number, my family's phone numbers, my house phone, my old school's phone number, my doctor's office number and that's it :(

Barely any nowadays. A couple of taxi firms, the doctor and the Indian takeaway is about all I can recall from memory.

The only phone I know by memory is my own.. :D If we are not talking about 911, else I know two numbers.

I remember when I was very young before cell phones I once wrote down from memory all the numbers that I knew... and it was like about 30+.
Now I remember a few now defunct #'s but have trouble remembering my own current one.

Technology is great but it has made us lazy..
