Help me find this movie

Crooked preacher chases kids on a raft in the river. The mom ends up marrying the guy.

The other movie. The guy is a misogynistic guy that has several different sons by several different wives. He has a daughter that he doesn't have a relationship with cause she's a girl. Obviously he hates women. He kills his ex wife with a crowbar and makes it look like she had a wreck on the bridge.

I believe both these films came on lifetime. If anyone could help that would be great.
