On Michael Jackson's "Beat It" collaboration with Van Halen?

Does it prove that Halen's guitar work and Jackson's song writing and singing make for some pretty cool slice of ass-kicking catchy pop music high quality stuff? Yay thought so.

My favourite MJ song together with Smooth Criminal. And Van Halen's guitar solo rocks!

Yeah, I dig SC as well a lot, not muck keen on the Alien Ant Farm cover of it though.

I wouldn't call myself the biggest Jackson fan, but yes he did rock in the 70s and 80s quite a bit with some really awesome tracks as well in the mix, the controversy about the deal of was he or was he not guilty did tarnish his reputation, although I am not too sure myself if he was guilty or not, but overall I still appreciate his songs more or less.

It kind of went downhill after Black or White.

He had an unhealthy and inappropriate relationship with children, no matter if there was any abuse or not.

I've always found it creepy that people overlook the fact that Jackson would have sleepovers with 12 year old boys. If I did that I would be in prison for the rest of my life.

I really don't get those parents. Who cares if he's a rich celebrity!
