Joy Division.

What are our opinions on this great popular late 70s/early 80s UK indie rock band, fronted by the great late Ian Curtis?

Me, I am definitely a huge fan and both "Unknown Pleasures" (1979) and "Closer" (1980) are among my all-time favourite perfect albums ever.

Yes, their group members including Bernard Sumner later formed New Order, which is a great overall band in their own field of synth-pop, pop-rock, indie-rock and electronic music.

What do you think, thanks.

The movie Control was good.

The band White Lies really reminds me of Joy Division.

I absolutely love them and I saw Peter Hook in concert recently. There were several fans there with Unknown Pleasures tattoos.

Very jealous!

I must admit I did not know most of his newer stuff but I was there for the Joy Division and New Order tunes. 😀

He's a pretty unique bassist.
