So this site is by far the best alternative around to the IMDB. My question is though, why is it not yet at the same level of popularity as IMDB? It's not like there are any other sites similar to IMDB as this one is, so it really begs the question. Also, how can we get it there?

What Juror8 said. MovieChat's only been around for a bit over a year. IMDb's been around for 27 years.
Best thing to do is post on various boards, when the spirit moves, which is what most of have been doing. Doesn't matter if the thread is an ancient one imported from IMDb or new.
