Neither am I. Not sure I'm quite ready to experience that one again.

"Frankie Teardrop" by Suicide and "State Trooper" by Bruce Springsteen, the latter seeming to be inspired by the former.

Oh, it's a funny song! Especially toward the end when you realize who the guy is talking to.
I just meant that as a child, that thumping and the weird guy scared me.

I'm a Nine Inch Nails fan and I like this song quite a bit, but I think the lyrics are gratuitously vulgar. Not even interesting enough to qualify as "disturbing".

I just listened to Odd to Billy Joe again recently db, I agree that it is disturbing. The suicide of a boy and the apparent indifference of his friends family upon hearing the news.
Did you see the film that was based on the song ?
