Funniest accent in movies

American actors pretending they are foreigners

Even Alicia Vikander's british accent I find kind of funny and annoying in the same time

I've often wondered why directors/producers don't just say 'forget the accent - just use your own.' I'd rather that than have an accent done badly. Either that or hire an actor with the accent the character has.

I strongly believe that the studios have some involvement in this too

Yes, I'm not sure who exactly makes these decisions, but they need to rethink some of them.

Brad Pitt's 'Brogue' in The Devils Own is one of the worst things ive ever witnessed in an otherwise decent movie
That 'brogue' confused me, then pissed me off, then began to amuse me no end

Steve Martin in The Pink Panther

In the he otherwise good "Spiderman 2", there's a scene where Mary Jane is on Broadway, playing Gwendoling in "The Importance of Being Earnest". When playing an English girl onstage, she has THE worst fake Brit accent I've heard since Dick Van Dyke in "Mary Poppins".

No wonder Mary Jane was waiting tables in the next sequel.

Keanu Reeves in "Bram Stoker's Dracula"
Ethan Hawke in "Hamlet"

There's one accent I find funny in a good way. That of the black cook in Ratatouille. His voice was done by some white American guy, but he sounds just like a black guy from France!
