Pittsburgh Steelers

Bad coaching or the window closing on playoffs with the current roster? I tend to go with closing window as in years past as a casual follower you knew most of the names on defense but this year you see a number and think who is that? Coaching in the 4th quarter was not the best but usually Tomlin has easy decisions as the Steelers usually have the game decided when the 4th quarter starts.

This has been my team since the Steel Curtain of the 1970s. I don't know what Tomlin was thinking with some of his decisions it was so out of character. The current roster is fine the big question is what happens after Big Ben retires.

They seemed to be looking past Jacksonville and focusing on New England. They were cocky and paid the price.

Like I said I don't think Tomlin is usually forced to make tough decisions late in the game. It did not look like it was a matter of lack of effort on the Steelers' part but then again I don't watch them on a regular basis. The Jacksonville defensive effort did not look overwhelming but I thought their D Line got the best of the Pittsburgh O Line. The Steelers just normally are not a team to take an opponent lightly which makes me wonder if a number of players are past their prime.
