Posting podcast episodes to relevant forums

I was wondering what the current mood is regarding these forums. My friends and I have a casual podcast we do about movie trivia. Each episode revolves around one movie, and we try to talk about all aspects of the movie. I admit to shamelessly self-promoting, but i figure it's related content, and might be a good way to spark discussion on movies that night have no traction (such as Ghost Story (1981)).

Yes, we really did a whole episode about that movie...

Also, I should clarify: we have maybe 100 listens a month, and no sponsors. We don't make money on this, we just like to talk shop!

If afterbuzz does a podcast to a show,I usually watch. It depends how well the podcasters do. If they ramble about things that are unrelated to the show, I'm gone.

Yeah that had been the feedback that we get too! I will say it's been a tough balancing act to maintain a conversational style without letting the rambling go too wide of the topic.

Take my word for it when I say that there is a lot left on the "cutting room floor" when I'm done editing lol

If you have notes about what you to discuss, just stick to the script. Also you might want to discuss this with your fellow podcasters

We keep meaning to share the notes out, maybes I'll work on that this week. It's like herding cats to try and keep these guys on topic lol
