shareI was watching TV one night with my daughter and her friends, (yes, it was an ordeal), and an ad for Sex And The City came on. Not being blessed with a strong stomach, I went to change channels with the comment that she was one of the ugliest actors on TV.
The reaction from the girls was immediate and virulent. I was angrily told that I was mistaken, and that the female in question was, (quote) "beautiful" (unquote).
To this day, I haven't recovered from that bizarre event. It remains in my memory like an episode of "The Twilight Zone".
