shareI dunno, arvin. I read something recently about a particularly vicious virus using ads as a point of entry. It completely destroys hard drives, then jumps to smartphones and tablets. Might want to get your computer scrubbed by a professional. (innocent looking-up emoji)

It really isn't important but I did offer the owner of this site I could help them out with promotion & clearly I can... I joined this site kinda early & when I noticed admin had shit all social media presence I offered help... open offer & I have charged people for promotion.

shareJust a few days ago I made a post here about how this site is easy on my computer because it doesn't have too many ads, just the little clickbait things at the bottom of the page. But within a day or two after I said that, the big pain of an ad reappeared in the middle of the screen again, where I hadn't seen it for weeks at least. Very annoying. And as I said in my other post, I have an old computer and slow internet, so too many ads can be a real nuisance. I can't use adblock either for the same reason; it hogs up too much data.
shareYes,this ads are too much for pc's memory,that's why they run so slow,or ocassionaly froze...but you can ad more ram.
shareHey Croft, the day after we discussed adding RAM and my computer running so slow and getting locked up by the ads, something changed. I assume Jim tweaked something which optimized the loading of the ads. Now the site is loading normally for me, thank god.

Yep, I have two per page, one at the top, one at the bottom. I wouldn't mind except some of them are animated with flashing sections and stuff. Very distracting. I know Jim needs them to make some money for running costs, but eeueuegh.
