Your favorite Asian American movie stars
I mean, the ones that got their fame in Hollywood.. not Jet Li or Jackie Chan whose obviously already a big star in Hong Kong.
For me it's Rick Yune. He's great both as protagonist and antagonist!

Well,Li Binbing.I liked how she played ada wong in retribution.Could be better though.😉
shareWell, I cannot say because I would have said Jackie Chan. Then again, he is not really an Asian American. I thought Jackie grew up in China. I mean, technically, he is a citizen of the U.S.; however, I am not sure if we can consider him Asian American.
shareMost of these are Asian not Asian American... Sung Kang, Randall Park, Constance Wu, Brian Tee, John Cho, Grace Park, Aziz Ansari, Daniel Wu, Lucy Liu are examples of Asian American actors. Only recently have filmmakers and tv showrunners begun to create non stereotypical Asian American roles. Until asian americans have a 5% chance of landing a lead or winning an Oscar, Hollywood cannot pat itself on the back for being truly diverse.
shareI like Steven Yeun, Glen on Walking Dead,
and John Lone has blown me away in so many movies like "Iceman".
Chow Yun-Fat.
First Asian woman I saw was France Nguyen in Star Trek,
and Nancy Kwan ... a bit stereotypical, but wow.
Gong Li of course.

Yeah,he made this interesting action flick called The Fifth Comandment (2008) which he produced and starred in himself, and it's a pretty good tough action pic worth watching. He's currently playing a role as a drug addicted prisoner in the newly rebooted Prison Break series, which is an excellent action-packed series worth watching---check it out sometimes. Plus he still looks good, too.
I've never heard of that movie. I'll try to find and watch it. Thank you.
