Kellie Martin's tv movies

I've been a big fan of Kellie Martin since Life Goes On and I also enjoy her tv movies. I haven't seen as many of them in their entirety as I would like, but the three below stand out to me.

A Friend to Die For/Death of a Cheerleader (1994): Kellie plays an unpopular girl and Tori Spelling plays the very popular girl in this movie based on a true story.

If Someone Had Known (1995): Kellie plays a young, abused wife and mother in this one.

The Face on the Milk Carton (1995): This movie is based on the first two books in the book series that started with The Face on the Milk Carton. I first saw this in middle school after we read the first two books.

I know Kellie has been in others, but I have not seen them all in their entirety, as I said, and didn't want to list something I hadn't fully seen and enjoyed.

jgiles, Thank you for starting a thread on Kellie Martin. She was the star of many well-loved TV movies in the 90's, and then in the 2000's she did about 10 TV movies in the "Mystery Woman" series. I've only seen 2 of Kellie's movies, but both were very good:

1. About Sarah (1998) Kellie lives with her grandmother and her slightly-mentally-challenged mother (the wonderful Mary Steenburgen). When Kellie's grandmother dies, Kellie has to take care of her mother by herself. At the same time, she starts dating a new boy (Chad Christ). I really liked this movie.

2. On the Edge of Innocence (1997) Kellie is sent to a juvenile detention facility where she meets and falls in love with James Marsden (who is now a big star). Kellie and James escape from the institution and try to make a living on their own. This one's great too!

btw: I know I need to watch that "Death of a Cheerleader" one, it's a very popular one.

Saw both "A Friend to Die For" and "About Sarah" (the latter on vacay in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, in a hotel), when first aired..

Only four of the Mystery Woman movies are on DVD. Very good flicks. Also look for the Christy box set.

I haven't seen THE FACE ON THE MILK CARTON, but have the others mentioned. Her standout performance for me is in the movie HIDDEN IN SILENCE. She plays a young Polish catholic girl, Fusia Podgorska who, from 1939 until the liberation, hid many Jews from the Nazis. An outstanding movie, and great acting from Kellie Martin. A must see movie for fans of hers.

Last movie watched.
LADY KILLER (1992) Mimi Rogers & John Shea

I really like a lot of hers, but especially No Brother of Mine or Her Hidden Truth. If anyone has the latter, would you please let me know? I would love to get my hands on a copy of it. Thanks.
