I thought I'd start a few threads to discuss the TV movies of several actresses known for being the "Queens of TV movies". Here are the Meredith Baxter TV movies I've seen:

1. "The Kissing Place" (1990) This is my favorite of all her TV movies. Meredith plays a psychotic kidnapper.

2. "Darkness Before Dawn" (1993) This is my second favorite. Meredith plays a drug addicted nurse who steals drugs from the hospital she works at. This is a MUST for fans of made for TV movies.

3. "Kate's Secret" (1986) Meredith really looks beautiful in this one. She plays a housewife with a very serious eating disorder.

4. "A Woman Scorned: The Betty Broderick Story" (aka. Till Murder Do Us Part) (1992) This is already a classic TV movie and is another MUST for fans of TV movies.

Those are my 4 favorites, but I've also seen these other Meredith Baxter TV movies: For the Love of Aaron, Bump in the Night, Other Mothers, A Mother's Justice, Crash Course, Take Your Best Shot, The Rape of Richard Beck, Miracle in the Woods, Down Will Come Baby, The Wednesday Woman, Let Me Call You Sweetheart, Aftermath, The Christmas Visitor, Angel in the Family, Holy Joe, The Inheritance, My Breast, One More Mountain, Betrayed: A Story of Three Women, Murder on the Orient Express, She Knows Too Much, Long Journey Home, The Night That Panicked America, The Stranger Who Looks Like Me, and The Invasion of Carol Enders.

I want to see Burning Bridges but I can't find a copy.

One of my favorite actresses. I have most of her TV movies, but like you, haven't been able to get hold of BURNING BRIDGES. I'm in Australia and I don't even recall seeing it shown here, because I would have taped it. I've been taping TV movies since about 1981, my family used to laugh at me for keeping them all, but so glad I did. i love re-watching them.Have transferred most of them onto discs.(took me a year)have bought heaps of them too, get most of them from America and the UK, because unfortunately can't get them in Australia. My favorite TV actresses/actors are, (just to name a few)

I agree, it's great to finally have a forum where we can discuss all the GREAT made for TV movies! TV movies are my favorite kind of movies!

I just wanted to update this thread. Since starting this thread, I have found a copy of "Burning Bridges"- and now I have seen ALL of Meredith's TV movies.

Burning Bridges was good, but it wasn't amazing. I still enjoyed it, and I'd still recommend it to any of Meredith's fans. It's just not her all-time best movie.

Meredith is another one of my favorite actresses, The movies I've seen of hers are Kate's Secret, Both Woman Scorned movies, They are my favorite of hers, Kate's Secret is my 2nd favorite of hers, I've also seen the wednesday woman and I've seen some of A Story of three women.
