Dawson's Creek: '98-'03

My friend and I have searched for the season's of Dawson's Creek with the original music, but can't find them anywhere (in stores or as downloads). The original music contracts with the artists ran out when DC was released on DVD so there is some terrible generic music on the DVD's that totally ruins the show. If anyone has some info on where I might find the original aired episodes on DVD let me know.

Unless you can find someone who recorded the original airings of the show and can transfer them to DVD for yo, then your chances of finding DVD copies with the original music is pretty minimal since none have been released officially, and I doubt the original episodes will ever find their way on to DVD.

This site has all the episodes with all the original music:

It's a shame so much music was replaced, but if they didn't, then we wouldn't have had the box sets. It's the same story with "Roswell".

Unfortunatley you can only get the original music from TV.

However, if you press the audio button for your DVD the music will revert back to the way it was...but the language will change too!!

I don't mind some of the changes - not all the music is different and some times the music is better IMO.

But I wasn't old enough to watch the show when it first aired so maybe that's why I'm coping with the change better than some.

If you're a DC fan head over to the Dawson's Creek board - we always have great discussions over there!
