Was 'Fastlane' a good tv series?

I love Tiffany Theisson and i'm thinking of buying the series on dvd. I've never seen the show......ever, but i'm seeking thoughts of what people thought of the show. I've heard its like "Miami Vice".

Fastlane was an amazing show. It just was on the wrong channel (fox I believe). If it was on a cable station like USA there would have been at least three seasons. I also heard that they changed the music on the DVD but if you didn't here the original music before then it shouldn't be such a big deal.

It was a good show until they put that lame lesbian episode with the wtf moment with the skinny dark hair lesbian snaping the cop's neck at the end that can not happen.
