If you could go back to any year in the 90s which year would you choose?

I would pick 1991. I was 8 years old at the time but for some reason that was a fun year for me. A lot of great shows was on TV then and coming on TV.

It was a toss up between 93 and 94, but I chose 1994. I still tell people that was the best year ever for movies. It launched careers like Jim Carrey & Adam Sandler, and turned Tom Hanks into a megastar. Two of my top 10 all time favorite shows, New York Undercover & Party of Five, as well as shows like All That, Sister Sister, My So Called Life made their debuted. Biggie Smalls, my now 2nd favorite rapper ever debuted. When I first took up baseball. Memories of sneaking out of boys club to go to the movies. Hanging out with family. Fashion was starting to change. Great great year.

I'd go back to 1990...the year I was born....and get to experience the 1990s as a grown-up.

But to be honest, I really want to go to 1956 (the year TV came to Australia), and starting at the age of 23, experience the second half of the 20th century in a unique way. That would be great.

But if I could only spend time in a single year of the 1990s, I'd go with either 1992, 1994 or 1997....they seem like interesting years.

Who?..Who..is he calling?..Who? This hand..Oh..It's my hand again..my hand..ME?

Possibly one of the later years, like 1998 or 1999. A lot of my nostalgia comes from elementary school, because of the friends I made, the trips I took, and just the simplicity of the atmosphere when I was in school. At the time, I was too young to appreciate those years, the way I appreciate them now, not to mention, proud of moving up grade after grade, because I wanted to stay ahead of the game like my classmates, and not remain uncoordinated.

Well, i'm long past those days, and now I realize the early years of school are a small piece of a big puzzle I want no part of, and I wish I knew the outcome of my feelings sooner, in hopes that my experiences lived up to all the nostalgia I have from mid-childhood.

P.S. F!ck High School.

I like your post. I also love New York Undercover I watched all episode and still watch the episodes on youtube since they don't re-run on TV. Anyways, You right Biggie did come out around 94 a lot of great artists rap and R&B was starting to come out and this era belonged to the south and New York.

New York Undercover comes on either centric or tv1, because I had all the episodes recorded on my dvr at one point, just fyi.

But yeah the only reason I was going to say 93 was because my favorite 90's show, boy meets world, and 3rd all time favorite movie, Jurassic Park came out.

You right I forgot NYU comes on Centric. At one point it stopped coming on for CSI.

That depends. If we go back to said year, do we relive our entire lives from that year or do we go back to the present time after that year ends?

1994-1995....EASILY because I was at my highest peak in life at 6 and 7 yrs old. I felt so secure and happy in my own skin. Most of my main fave female artists were at their peak of their careers. Great shows and music. The year I graduated from Kindergarten, when we got cable, when I had my best friend, bubble baths, my aunt and uncle got married (even though I never attended), all my barbie dolls and stuffed animals, and summer camps. 1996 and 1997 were good years as well.

2nd grade was my most favorite school year of them all!!!

-sailor moon
-when i was infatuated with japanese culture
-When we had a visitor from Japan in school teaching us about their culture.
_Summer camps
-Pioneer club
-christmas shows at school.

Nice 2 laugh, but don't be the joke.👎✋

1997--I would have told the me just entering college what to do and how to do things even better. Yes I turned out fairly well. Got degrees, but not without a few unnecessary bumps along the way.
