Jungle Jim? Buster Brown? What was this show? SOLVED

What is this show I'm thinking of? Buster Brown was shoes? I only remember bits and pieces. I think there was a male host that talked to us and a black cat that made him mad but it was supposed to be funny then he would introduce a short story like jungle jim for one.

I believe "Andy's Gang" with Andy Devine as host, is the show you remember.

Andy would show clips of different movies that were usually meant for kids.
The most famous character in the show was the wise cracking Frog, Froggy

Buster Brown shoes sponsored the program.

The Black Cat was called Midnight

"Jungle Jim," was a 1/2 hour jungle adventure program that starred Johhn Weissmuller. I can't remember much about the plot line. I just remember seeing "Jungle Jim" in his white safari-type costume.

There was also a program called "Raymar of the Jungle," which I only remember by title. Being a girl, I liked "Sheena, Queen of the Jungle," starring leggy blond actress Irish McCulla. I always thought that it would be cool to wear the leopard-skin (I think) outfit.

It was originally "Smilin' Ed's Gang," with Ed McConnell as host (it began on radio) and became "Andy's Gang" when Devine took over after McConnell died.

The jungle adventures of Gunga Ram were often featured on the show, with Nino Marcel as Gunga. There was a feature film with that character, "Sabaka," which also featured Boris Karloff, and June Foray as the villain!

And Billy Gilbert going up against Froggy the Gremlin. “Plunk your magic twanger, Froggy!”

Axial tilt is the reason for the season.

I remember this show with Ed McConnell, however imdb seems to have no record of it.

"Hi, I'm Buster Brown, I live in a shoe. This is my dog Tag. He lives there too."

The dog's name was Tige, and the show was Andy's Gang, Andy being Andy Devine.

It was originally Smiling Ed's Gang starring Ed McConnell. Read the previous replies.
