Well, a lot of countries didn't have TV by 1959. So it is interesting to see which countries did have TV and which didn't. I'm surprised that New Zealand didn't have TV until the early 1960s.

However, the main reason I posted the list is because a lot of people think only a few countries had TV in the 1950s, but as you can see lots of countries had TV, even if many didn't.
