I find Board of Canada a bit dull and don't know P.P.Roy, but I love the other 3.

Have you ever been to Chinese Laundry club in Sydney? When I visited, I caught a Calyx and Teebee show there.

Nah, I live in Melbourne. There was a Chinese Laundry here, only operated on Friday nights, but that was from about 1995 until maybe the late '90s. Because I didn't socialise with any people who shared my interest in music I never went there. Instead I used to tape stuff from the radio until I discovered CDs/records (of which I now have several thousand).

When you mentioned Calyx it rang a bell, but on further investigation the one I'm thinking of is actually a different guy, Calix (http://www.discogs.com/artist/39029-Calix).

Okay, so you're in Melbourne. I hear you guys have a thriving electronic music scene. I loved Sydney and have been told by numerous people there that I should also make a stop in Melbourne. May have to do that one day.
