I'm up to season 6 now and I have to say, it's the best show I've ever seen. Or very, very close to it. I can't believe it's only got 35,000 votes.
Who else loves it?
A very good show. Michael Chiklis and Walton Goggins were particularly good, but the entire cast did a great job.
There are quite a few shows I prefer, but it's definitely in my top 50 all-time tv favorites.
I absolutly adored THE SHIELD. My opinion is that this show was one of the best in tv history. It's something I discovered by accident one night channel surfing, but after watching for a few minutes, I was absolutly engrossed in the show. The writing, acting, direction and the characters were all briliant, nd it's one of my favourite shows ever.

for me it was as good as Hill Street Blues, the first US cop show I had ever seen in UK that actually showed the real America....not the glamourous Caifornia we normally got to see.
